KERSEY EAGLES NEW MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
Members of any type from any Eagles Aeries nationwide are welcome into the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aeries 727. All members, whether from the Kersey Eagles or visiting members are required to sign in any visitor(s) with them. Visitors are welcome the first time, allowed the second time, encouraged to join the third time, and made to join the fourth time. If a visitor refuses to join on their fourth visit, they will be asked to leave and will not be permitted to come into the club in the future until they fill out the application and pay the appropriate fees at the time of the application.
All visitors are required to be signed in pursuant to the rules, regulations, and policies set forth by the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, and the Kersey Eagles. As a non-member, employees are only permitted any complimentary drinks for their job and fifteen minutes before their shift in the building without following the rules as a visitor for the club. Visiting Eagles members from other Aeries are to receive their second beverage complimentary of the club- this includes any visitors with them.
Only members of an Eagles Aeries are permitted to engage in gambling of any sort, but may not be allowed to participate in any daily book drawings, weekly book drawings, weekly 50 / 50 drawings, raffles, or drawings held by the Kersey Eagles. Some raffles, drawings, and 50 / 50 drawings may be available to visitors. There are many benefits to being a member of the Kersey Eagles and any other Eagles Aeries. All members are eligible for additional discounts through affiliate organizations and are listed on the membership application, Kersey Eagles website, and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles website. Members are also welcome to sign up for the Kersey Eagles Email newsletter by submitting an Email address.
Only a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie 727 may sponsor a new member. All members whom sponsor a new member are entered into drawings and chances for items provided through the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. To sign the daily book drawing and weekly book drawing, the member must belong to the Fraternal Order of the Eagles 727 in Kerey, Pennsylvania.
At this time, the Kersey Eagles no longer accepts benefit memberships and can not complete a transfer of a benefit member from another Eagles Aeries if they are trying to transferring a benefit membership. The member must keep a dual membership; which is being a member at two Eagles Aeries. The Kersey Eagles Auxiliary has also been disbanded and is no longer available. All new members become social members, whether male or female. They are able to participate in all membership benefits and gambling, but are not offered benefits.

Once an application is filled out, submitted, application fee, and membership dues is received by the club- a receipt is given. Carry this receipt with you at all times. Most Aeries will accept this receipt as membership voucher which lets all applicants enter any Aeries with membership benefits. The Kersey Eagles accepts receipts from any and all Eagles Aeries.
Acceptance of membership may take up to four weeks and Eagles membership cards may take up to six weeks to receive. Once a membership card has been received, please check the information to make sure all information is correct as well as providing a valid Email address.
APPLYING FOR MEMBERSHIP ....
The application for new membership to the Kersey Eagles is short and easy. Applicant's name, address, telephone number, birthdate, affirmation on new membership / transfer membership / re-enrollment status, declaration of criminal background and felony(ies) received, and occupation are included in the application and must be filled out. Applicants must have two current members of the Kersey Eagles to sponsor your membership and pay one year's dues plus an application fee when turning in your application. A receipt of purchase and application will be given. The employee signing up the member will distribute the receipt. Although the receipt does not allow new members to sign the Daily or Weekly Book, keep this receipt on hand at all times. The application is available in the Kersey Eagles or you can apply online through the Kersey Eagles website or through the Fraternal Order of the Eagles website. All EMT service volunteers and employees receive their first year free of dues and are only required to pay the application fee. If you are already a member of an Eagles Aeries and wish to transfer your membership, only an application with two sponsors needs to be filled out - your dues will roll over to the Kersey Eagles and we do not require an application fee since one has already been paid when applied for the first time.
BECOMING A MEMBER OF THE KERSEY EAGLES ....
Once an application has been submitted, it will be reviewed at the next open club meeting for members. The Kersey Eagles meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM. All members in attendance will vote on membership acceptance for each applicant. If the applicant is approved for membership, the new member will be notified by Email, telephone, or in person. Every new member must be sworn into the club during an open club meeting for members. If a new member is unable to attend a meeting, another date and time can be arranged. Once the new member is sworn in, a membership card will be issued which will allow the member entrance to any Eagles Aerie nationwide whom accept membership to other clubs. The member will also be eligible for Fraternal Order of the Eagles specific discounts from affiliate businesses and benefits, and the privileges to enter club drawings, 50 / 50 chances, sign the daily book, and enter for a chance at a year's free dues through the club's Patron of Eagles. Members may also sign in guests to the club.
BEING A MEMBER OF THE KERSEY EAGLES ....
There are many benefits of becoming a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Kersey Aeries 727. Many new people can be met, you can gamble and enter chances for drawings and raffles, attend functions and events at the Kersey Eagles, sign in guests, stay out for an extra hour after bars close, enjoy lower prices on food and beverages, and enjoy a more laid-back and friendly atmosphere while you're out. Affiliate businesses offer discounts to any Eagles Aeries member such as Nationwide Insurance, American Hearing Services, Avis, Budget, Cruises Only, MetLife Insurance, Office Depot, LifeLock, and LTCR Long Term Care Resources. As a Kersey Eagles member, certain assistance from our club may also be provided to you in a crisis or in your time of need. We honor veterans of the military and Emergency Services personnel. Being a member of a club allows customers an extra hour of time to be out after the bars close for the night. We are a non-profit organization and donate to national and local charities and organizations - you can be a part of that! We also donate to local individuals in need and help support tragedies and any crisis locally. Programs are available through the Fraternal Order of the Eagles that include members, their families, and children. Scholarships to members are also available. Specific meetings and tournaments sponsored by the Fraternal Order of the Eagles are also open to any member of any Aeries. The club operates based on member volunteers, so every member's ideas,thoughts, and suggestions can be heard, will be considered, and the club can alter the way it is operated around your wants and needs. Members of the Kersey Eagles Aerie 727 have the right to run for office to run the club. Officers perform all tasks and work on a volunteer basis. Nominations run from February until April, elections take place in May, and new officers assume their positions in June. Membership dues is due every year by May 31. A 90 day grace period is granted where members can still come into the club and take part in membership benefits before they are dropped. Once a member is dropped, they must re-apply, pay the application fee, and go through the new member procedure again.
SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP ....
New members may only apply for social membership and become social members. This allows members to members to engage in any raffles, drawings, chances, daily book, and weekly book as well as offers them the chance of visiting other Eagles Aeries. Keep in mind that not all Eagles Aeries accepts receipts as membership validation and some don't even alllow card holder social members to enter their club. As a social member in another aeries, the member is permitted to participate in raffles, drawings, chances, and small games of chance as pursuant to each individual Eagles Aeries organization and club. Social members are permitted to sign in a maximum of 10 guests in a night, although guests may only be signed in up to three times before becoming a member. Please see the Membership Guidelines.
BENEFIT MEMBERSHIP ....
Benefit members receive death benefit and supplementary injury benefits. An application must be filled out to receive these benefits. All applications for requested benefits are approved by the club meeting before any money is issued. Benefit membership requires an additional yearly dues amount. Benefit members may participate in any raffles, drawings, chances, daily book, and weekly book. Not all Eagles Aeries accepts the receipt of membership application and payment, nor do they accept the membership card from different Eagles Aeries. Benefit members are permitted to participate in raffles, drawings, chances, and small games of chance in other organizations as pursuant to each individual Eagles Aeries organization and club. Benefit members are not permitted to sign the daily or weekly book in other Eagles Aeries. Benefit members are permitted to sign in a maximum of 10 guests in night, although guest may only be signed in up to three times before becoming a member. Please see the Membership Guidelines. The Kersey Eagles, Fraternal Order of the Eagles 727 in Kersey Eagles, no longer accepts benefit members. With the exception of any current benefit member availability for benefit members, a benefit membership is no better than a social membership.
AUXILIARY MEMBERSHIP ....
An auxiliary membership is meant for women only. Most Eagles Aeries have done away with an auxiliary and have went directly to a Social or Benefit Membership status. Auxiliary members may permitted to participate in raffles, drawings, daily boo, weekly book, and chances. Even though an auxiliary club member belongs to the Kersey Eagles, not all receipts of new membership or payment and membership cares are accepted at other Eagles Aeries. As any other club member, the Auxiliary i permitted to participate in any small games of chance without the permission of the daily book and weekly book while at any other Eagles Aeries pursuant the alternate Eagles Aeries rules, regulations, and policies. Auxiliary members are permitted to sign in a maximum of 10 guest even though each guest is required to become a member of the Kersey Eagles after their third guest sign in. The auxiliary membership members put on their own activities, events, and functions and require their own committees and volunteers. The Kersey Eagles no longer offers an auxiliary and instead offers a social membership only.

Refunds in the amount of the application fee may be received in the event of membership denial. Due to the fact that transfer members are previously accepted as members to an alternate Eagles Aeries, the chances of membership denial are slim with the exception of conflict between transfer member and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Kersey, Pennsylvania.
CLUB OFFICER MEMBERSHIP ....
All club officers receive their next year's dues free of charge for volunteering as an officer of the Kersey Eagles. This includes social, benefit, and auxiliary membership.
EMPLOYEE MEMBERSHIP ....
It is not a requirement for employees to become a member of the Kersey Eagles if they are not already members, however it is recommended and suggested. Employees tend to stay after their shifts, attend functions and special events, and visit the club. Even though they are employees, these times do not count as working hours and all employees must follow the visitor regulations. All yearly dues for social, benefit, and auxiliary membership remain the same for employees and they are also required to pay the application fee.
